Future Proof Labs™ Debuts at SXSW!

| Technology

Wearables. Digital kiosks. Out-of-home technology. Our options for accessing the digital world are evolving rapidly—and here at Undertone, we want to help prepare brands to reach consumers through tomorrow’s technology. That’s why our new venture Future Proof Labs is dedicated to exploring the intersection of wearable tech and digital advertising through prototyping and testing emerging tech in state-of-the-art research facilities. It all kicks off at SXSWi next week with the launch of our mobile Lab: a tricked-out RV with custom installations of brand-new technology. The RV has spent the last several weeks getting outfitted at West Coast Customs in LA (of MTV’s “Pimp My Ride” fame), and will be heading to Austin in just a few days!

Our mobile Future Proof Lab features eight incredible hands-on demonstrations of new and innovative ways that wearables will change how people interact with brands. Tour the Lab, and you’ll get to interact with cool new technology in several different environments. See how the living room of tomorrow will be hyper-connected; experience how out-of-home digital messaging becomes custom and interactive; and play with new technology in a mock shopping center.

The Future Proof Lab RV will be touring the country after its debut in Austin, so be one of the first to get a look at this new tech at SXSW! The RV will be located at 503 Colorado St. (corner of 5th St. and Colorado), just a few blocks from the Convention Center, 11 am-4 pm on March 7-9. Make sure it’s on your SXSW schedule to drop by, hang out with the Undertone team, enjoy music, drinks, and giveaways—and experience awesome new wearable technology!
